Messiaen's Turangalîla-Symphonie - Rehearsal Orchestra
Artistic Director Levon Parikian invites applications from talented musicians to learn and explore Messiaen's captivating "Turangalîla-Symphonie” over a weekend of intense rehearsal. The two-day course is followed by an open rehearsal, for a non-paying audience.

Requirements:
Applications are welcomed from Grade 8-plus musicians with good sightreading skills or the desire to improve sightreading abilities.
Transportation:
The nearest stations to Henry Wood Hall are Borough (Northern Line), London Bridge (Northern Line, Jubilee Line, and national rail services), and Elephant & Castle (Bakerloo Line).
Please note that there is free street parking available in the surrounding areas during the weekend. However, the venue is within the central London congestion charge zone, which requires a fee of £15 and operates on Saturdays and Sundays between 12:00 and 18:00. Additionally, the London Ultra Low Emission Zone applies all day, every day. Please check if your vehicle is affected.
Note for Audience:
At the end of each course, we invite a non-paying audience to witness an open rehearsal.
